Best domain names

    I would like to introduce my self first. I am the new member and trying to learn many things about how to deal with Google adsense and others. I mean I am beginner and on the learning curve.

    For the Domain name the most difficulties is coming from foreigners like me. If you want to have comman name you need to choose the domain name in English. But what about the name with your own language? I really need an advise rather than giving any comment how to choose domain name. I read many articals and advise about that, it seems the best would be to use English for all. If some one could give me any idea I would be appreciated.

    Other point is that the price. I can see that some firms are giving very cheap prices than the others. If anyone knows what is the best and cheaper again I will be appreciated. And I promise I will be able to give many suggestion in the future. Thanks to everybody who give me answer to support.:)

    Welcome to DP. May we know where are you from? Yes, choosing a domain name in English is beneficial to your site :) You may want to read some Domain names articles at ezinarticles.

    As for a place to register domains, you can search around and discover that the top 2 registrars that members recommend are Godaddy and NameCheap. Go for NameCheap if you are registering .info ($2.98) or want an easy interface to deal with. Do also visit www.reg-fee.com for some promo codes to save extra bucks before registering :)

    Welcome Suzan. It depends what your own language is and who your audience is.

    If you speak German (widley spoken in the EU) and your audience is the EU, or if you speak Chinese (Gazillions of speakers) and your audience is the Chinese, than get it in your own language as you will likely have a much better domains to choose from.

    Not to be English centric, but English has become the "Language of the World" that can be understood in most places on earth. Not because it's easier than other languages, just because it was promoted by the right nations at the right times (U.S., G.B., Austrailia, etc).

    So yes, English will be best if you want to reach most of the world.
