Best Domain Name Registrar ?

I like namesilo because they offer whoisguard free

 

I think Namecheap is the best option. I have been working with them and godaddy for a while now for my website, and have found that they offer almost the same things.

 

I have been dealing with domain registrars for 10 years, Namecheap remains best option either in payment methods supported, Pricing and support
Godaddy is good but too big to get good enough support

Namecheap whois is only free for the first year when you register a new domain.

 

Godaddy first year price isn't much low from namecheap, Unless you manage to find a coupon code for godaddy and even with it the 0.99 cents or 1.49 or 2.xx coupons godaddy is offering are used fast or give limited usage so you would end up paying 10.xx something for domain most of time , in namecheap the monthly active coupons would usually get you the domain with 9.xx $

A side from all that mostly i like namecheap because they do support net neutrality and the massive support godaddy provided for SOPA back in 2011 made me not very big fan of godaddy

 

I think there's no one is the best. It depends on each guy's experience when using each provider. Each provider has the good point on each side or feature. IMO

i would suggest instantdomainsearch for faster searching.

 

They're not a domain registrar, they're just a domain search website.

 

I've used NameCheap to purchase all my domains, and I also have a shared hosting plan with them for my sites. I'm guessing it all comes down to personal preference I heard of GoDaddy before NameCheap though, they are very popular name needless to say and can see why people want to go with them. I only went with NameCheap because of this affiliate program I had joined where they recommend to buy our domains from there.

 

In my honest opinion the best is not just the one with the lowest price but the best should have good pricing. Based on that and years of using countless numbers of registrars, Namecheap is the best in my opinion.

They have consistently low prices but what sets them apart is their great customer support. No matter what I need fixed, taken care of, looked at or whatever, they always do a great job.

The others are good as well but Namecheap is the best in my experience.
