dk99 is short + .com and can be branded and promoted. If you had ec5.com I would have voted for that.
CheckMyHead.com - very brandable! ec5.org - Very short and memorable, but the extension is not so good.

I wouldn't use dc5.org Many people will type in dc5.com instead, people have issues remembering anything other than .com, most of the time. I actually like RancidApple.com - its totally random and pretty easy to remember. CheckMyHead.com is also a good choice. I think you can probably find something better currently available to reg if you do a little research...
Ya, and I am not opposed to registering a new name, I have been looking, but nothing has really popped out at me. I have to agree, the ec5.org will not work because it is not a .com besides I am thinking about turning that one into a paranormal site now. rancidapple was high on my list, but that was supposed to be a MAC bashing site
