Obviously the <comicname>.com is busy, so i've thought of some alternatives: <comicname>world.com <comicname>online.com i<comicname>.com e<comicname>.com my<comicname>.com Which one you think it's the best?
I hope its for a comic you're creating, and not "superman" or something like that.. It really depends on the name, but I prefer my<comicname>.com and <comicname>world.com (soooo generic).
Don't worry, it's not superman, it's hyperman...just kidding I also think <comicname>world.com sounds nice
I would probably put whatever your comic name is followed by "comicbook.com". Google's keyword tool says 9.900 people search for the phrase "comic book" per month and it has low competition. So, you'll not only capitalize on people looking for your specific comic book, but comic books in general. Every new post or page you create will have the phrase "comic book" in the url which will build up your authority with that keyword over time. It could become one of the main ways people find your blog as opposed to simply your comic title if there aren't many people familiar with it.
I guess it depends what your comic name is, but as a general rule, yes, you want it to be short, however I don't have issues with longer domain names. I typically keep them to 3 or 4 words maximum and never use articles such as "and" or "the". I'd rather focus on the exact phrases people are searching for. I think this trumps character length. Make sure you search for "exact phrase" when you use Google's keyword tool.
I'd try to use a word that people might search for with your comic name. People won't search for something like superman world unless a themepark opens.
People always like catchy and short names so that they don't have to remember it all the time. In that case <comicname>.co is a good choice. If its available.
