This answers a question for me... Tuning appears to be "da man" and I will be contacting him regarding his services for a new (well, old but not promoted) site that I have...

    Thanks!

For those who have used these services, do you know if they offer "staggered" submissions and do you recommend this...

Great thread... I'll have to check them out... is it really worth it to have your site submitted to 150 "pseudo-crappy" directories?

Well the way I see it, it certainly can't do any harm... static links are always nice :)

I guess that would depend on the website. If it's a small local KW then you probably don't need this service but anything more comp. it's worth it.

You can always do it yourself for free. ;)

Yeah, true enough... are there good lists of directories out there if I were to try it myself? ;) (or let my wife do it for me... hehe).

Great thread indeed, after reading it all, I started to think of using http://www.directorysubmission.net/
    myself.
I have a little question to all of you who tried this or any other submission service:
How many directories actually listed your site?

No, I meant the timing of submission. So, rather than submit a site to 150 directories in day or day(s), the service submits over a month or more.. With the approval process at most of these directories, I wonder if that even makes sense considering most won't get approved day 1 anyway. By default, perhaps they will end up staggered?
