Actually even if I see your point in asking this, I don't think it's fair for new directory submitters. You can probably see the "best" directory submitters by looking at what they charge. The higher they charge, the more their services are being asked for. For me I charge lower just to get some orders away from them. That does not mean that my work is of lower quality.
The two that I have been happy with, though I certainly havnen't used them all have been Madhu and Ecolateur.
The song "What about me"? comes to mind. I used Alfredo for a couple of sites and I also used Madhu. However, I now provide a submission service.
