Best directory software to use in SEO?

I live in a tiny city in Argentina. I was thinking about creating some directories, so people having site here can improve his SEO.

Later, once the directories are established, I'm planning to sell remarked positions in the directories.

For example: I want to do a directory of local radios, another one about local newspapers, and similar.

What Directory software or script can you recommend me?

 

I am not sure there is a "best directory software" out there, it really depends on a lot of factors, most of which you have not mentioned in you post.

From SEO pespective, most directoy script this days are SEO friendly. I have created quite a few directories, here are some of the directory software I used, you may find some of them useful:

I like PHPLD - it is the most flexible script that I have used - good luck.

 

I have used both and I have to say if you want to make your directory big and want it to be SEO friendly then use the paid version. It is light years ahead of the free version.

don't believe in software for directory submitting.
the best way to submit directories is manual submission.
these software are all fake.
because we don't know whether they have submitted really or not.

i want to suggest you to not to based on the software it wont give good results manual submissions is the better to get good results and even it is better for more links

 

manual submissions? manually submit my site to directories? I want to have my own directory, I don't want to submit my site to others directories.
