if you havent run a web directory before I suggest using a free one so you can get the jist of promotion etc. Use Site Sift and then eventually buy PHPLD. I can assure you wen u submit to the right place (not going to tell u lol ) you will easily make 30 bux from paid submissions within a couple weeks. By this time you should have learned promotion basics thus you could buy a script.
