    Hi,

It is true that Business.com struck a deal with Donnelly, but it is unclear the terms of the contract. I doubt all the money is up front cash. Some (most?) may have to be earned based upon reaching revenue/profitability targets. The PR didn't mention profit, only cash flow, so I am assuming the company is unprofitable after 8 years and burning $80 million dollars plus in venture capital money as well as all the revenue that they have achieved via advertising - so we are talking about $100 million in spent money to get where Business.com is today, where ever that may be. My guess is that Donnelly is paying for some technology, business partnerships, Internet know how, and potential, unrealized revenue. Whether or not this purchase pans out, remains to be seen. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I am still interested in the contest idea. I'll keep looking into the possibility. I need to think of a way to solicit original and interesting ideas. Thanks.

    Rich
