Kill it nooo  It's great to see how people are intergrating the ads into their sites. Talking about where and how to place the ads is just not the same as seeing how different people have placed them . To the pros here this thread might be boring but to noobs it's "good stuff"

Exactly Trippen, is nice to learn by example. By inspiration i mean inspiration, not clone.

Design does make a huge difference in CTR, I can not see how this thread is not interesting. Some suggestions where not that great but hey what can i say.

This one is too much, probably breaking the TOS

Here's a less intrussive one: articlesfactory. The right bar really looks like additional articles.

Yes.. I think its allowed. Because the heading correspond to the listing of the companies and not to the ads.

There is more to this world than CTR. While CTR is nice, CTR without results in the long run is not beneficial at all.

I have had web pages with HUGE double-digit CTRs, with lots of traffic, and made little.

Took the same web pages, redid them, and CTR fell through the floor (one-tenth of previous). Yet, earnings quadrupled and more!

    Taught me a lesson.

So you got either more visitors or higher paying keywords, or both.

My aim is to eventually get it all: visitors, CTR, and keywords... can't get better than that in PPC... won't be easy but that's why you call it a "gold" right.
After that, the next step is to sell my own products.. i mean if there are people paying for the clicks, they are getting more out of it right?

The reason I suggested this thread should "be killed" is because if you notice, almost all replies on the first page are people promoting their own sites. The thread title is "Best designed site for CTR you have seen", not "Your Best Designed CTR site".

They aren't promoting their own, they're been lightly humorous at most. Why should the thread be killed? Don't reply to it and it won't get bumped up and it will dissapear!

Awh heck, I'm sorry - I just bumped it again.

He he, that's fantastic! No doubt the 'AdSense Police' are already on the case with their indignation and furrowed brows.

I don't think promoting your site to anyone here is going to do you any good. At that last one posted, the UK hotel site is brilliant.

i guess that i must have missed the part where adsense lets you display different fonts in the ads.

I read somewhere that I used 4 adsense units. But to be clear, its 3 ad units and 1 ad link unit.

Overall my observation is, design of the site helps to get good CTR. And the content related ads automatically attracts the users of my site. Because I have nothing else on that site than STOCKS.
