    Hello Everyone.

I am trying to build a bodybuilding website. and thinking about the layout/design for days! and still couldnt find a best one for me yet. and watching other bodybuilding websites feel like their designs are outdated. (but correct me if im wrong)

So I want to build a website with a better design etc.

and these sites look good to me. example:
    http://www.muscleandstrength.com/
    http://www.flexonline.com/

And would you guys please suggest me a good layout/design/theme for a bodybuilding website? or example website. etc.

    thanks

1- decide what type of site you want to start,

a blog with lots of blog posts
    a public forum type website
an eCommerce website? ( woocommerce powered)

different sites have different types of themes.

I want to make it a public website first. with lot of articles about bodybuilding exercises and nutrition information etc.
then after a year or something I want to add a ecommerce thingy.

edit: I want to make my site just like http://www.muscleandstrength.com/ but with a little bit different or better design/layout/theme

This is a piece of cake. Just use wordpress and something from here
    http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/blog-magazine

Your first example has a tricked out menu system sorta... You can do this with uber menu..
    http://wpmegamenu.com/

Less content and browsing themeforest, this sorta thing takes me a few hours at best. You can be off and running in no time if you go that route.

Given the platform(wp) you can easily sell stuff, add a forum and do anything you need or add features with in a matter of minutes as well.

Wow!!! I really appreiciate your post! You explained me very well! Thank you!

    Just one more questions.
what are the differences between website who sells their themes as a set (for example: 20 themes in 90$) and website who sells their them as one by one(like theme forest and other famous websites).
Do you have any expeirence with them?

    Thank you!

Sure. I am a member here for instance http://www.elegantthemes.com/ which is a pretty sweet deal if you like what you see.

The cool thing about themeforest is the admin panels are totally tricked out and typically let you edit everything from font size and color to the htags etc. You will also get non stop theme updates forever.

There is certainly something you will like over there and they are pretty easy to set up as well. Everything comes with step by step instructions and blocks of code and shortcodes as well to set things up but magazine themes are really easy.

    glad I could help,
    Nigel

Sure thing, happy to help. And, have fun as well. If you can get around wordpress at all you will not really have any issues.
