Im in need of a dedicated server. Im thinking about just sticking with Hostgator but others have told me I can find cheapers one else where. What would you guys recommend for a dedicated server?
I personally use WebNX, Limestone Networks. Both should be considerably cheaper and more reliable than HostGator. HostGator's prices are very expensive for the server specs and what they offer.
hostgator dedicated is quite expensive, you will find much cheap dealer may be with others who can even give you dedicated support as well
What are you looking for exactly? Do you have something specific with HG right now that you can list here? What do you have with them, and what are you paying? Thanks.
Hostgator's VPS servers are pretty reliable, and much cheaper than dedicated. You might wanna check them out.
Most cheaper are come from a hidden costs for web hosting. They can sell you cheap dedicated server by lower hardware grade and bandwidth backbone. Cheap but not reliable with a headache issues later. I still recommend you go with Hostgator. Cheaper will not worth it.
It's hard to provide a good answer when you didn't know about the specification of the dedicated server needed. just my 2cent's.
To make a recommendation. How is that breaking the rules? Asking questions is perfectly acceptable. Promoting your own services openly and publicly or listing package deals is not. You might want to read the rules again
for dedicated severs hostgator is indeed very costly, you will find much better deal and support with other provider

Im thinking about just going with hostgator because of their support. I cant stand hosting companies that cant offer me quick response times or phone support.
