    You missed Kiloserve :D

We own the servers and the datacenter. We can provide anything from a Celeron to a dual dual core Opteron.

Softlayer is good but their standard models come with low RAM which means that you cannot fully take advantage of your CPU power and available bandwidth.

large servers means a company which has a large number of clients using dedicated servers.
    means more clients, more servers.
a company having large number of dedicated server clients.

the planet is the 3rd largest in private servers, 2nd to IBM who has public servers (I read it somewhere).

If you need a managed solution, rackspace is way to go. If you can be fine with unmanaged, Softlayer is a good place with multiple datacenters

Well it depends what you are looking for?

Are you looking for managed or unmanaged?

    proxy servers?

for managed servers, caro.net has great management, and prices

If you are looking for servers built for proxys I would go with wdservers.com
