best dedicated host for 2,500+ uniques/day

Hi, i am getting around 2500-3000 uniques a day to my wordpress blog, but my problem is, the site goes down at some times when there is a heavy load on the server. and its hosted at dreamhost. i would like to advertise it more and get more traffic, but that would be a waste of money since it will crash either way. anyone knows what kind of a dedicated host will handle that?

 

Can be easily done with a decent vps.

Good mysql optimization, php caching, object caching needed. You pages will fly if followed!

 

A VPS would be sufficient for your blog. You will get Dedicated amount of resources with the vps, root access, privacy and isolation. It would also give you more reliability and room to expand.

I run a VPS with 3 sites on it, one of them getting 5k visitors a day with no problems. I really like Servint because of their tech support. Also, they just upgraded bandwidth and storage for each of their VPS packages. I was getting 300GB bandwidth with 10G of space, but now I have 500GB bandwidth with 15GB space for $49/month....

 

lol, i am running an image host and it just spent 130+ Gb bandwith in 3 days and my VPS was slowing down all my other sites so i had to delete some picks but yes there is a lot of sites try bodhost
