Best days to sell a website?

I have a few websites I'd like to sell, I'm thinking of listing them on an auction, can anyone suggest the best days to end an auction?

    Thanks

There's really no "best" day to end an auction on a website... Rather you should list them on the auction when thier category(s) becomes a hot topic online.

Thanks for the replies, but I disagree. I used to sell on eBay and even reached PowerSeller status for a few months. But that was with physical products. And for one of kind items the best time to end an auction at least in my catergory was Sunday evening prime time EST (for some reason East and Central buyers happened more often).

I was just wondering about one of a kind digital products. I've heard it said to avoid Friday and Saturday nights as people tend to be busier and less likely to be in front of the computer. But at least for me I'd be likely to spend money right after payday and less likely right before payday. Maybe not during the evening, but during the day. I was just wondering if anybody experienced in buying and selling websites would have some suggestions.

    Thanks

Probably eBay since I have a high positive feedback score and zero on sitepoint.

    Thanks

I believe weekends are the best chances to sell a website, because during weekend more people are browsing the internet.

Yeah that's why Sunday night worked well, most places were closed, you have to go back to work the next day, so most people are stuck at home on Sunday evenings.

As for the weekends (Friday night and Saturday) I'm not that so sure it's that great, most people have their weekend activities and night life. Some suggest during the day at work it actually spikes up (online browsing) especially around lunch hour.

I'd be really interested in what experienced website flippers have to say.

    Thanks

statistically, Wednesday and Thursday have the highest open rate for email promotion. Maybe you can use this data as a base to sell your website.

    Your lucky days.

You can't predict when the good buyer will come.

Hmm...seems like people would have more time to browse then if they are more likely to open emails.

    Thanks

I'd think closer to the weekend the better. People's mood is generally better towards their days off.

i would say it depends, business people are out doing other things (not business things on the weekend, but not ALL) and then you have the weekdays which sometimes keeps business people busy with their own work. it really depends!

I think it's better to sell on SP, even if you have zero feedback. The audience is way more targeted and you'll be dealing with real professionals if your site is good. GL.

Hmmm, I never thought of this stuff before. Intersting, next time I sell something (I sell Wp themes) I'll wait for weekends.
