So I run a site with 200 unique visitors a day and about 1500 uniques a month and am only getting about 1-3 clicks a day on my adsense (feel free to check out the placement at http://www.goculver.com if you think I should be doing better or worse)

Anyway, my typical click deposits around 0.15 cents inot my account. Needless to say I'm not a big earner.

On friday though each of my clicks was in the 2-3 dollar range. Anyone else have some good luck that day?

Hoping for a few more days like that to break even on my hosting!

why don't u put ur ads on the top the way u have set ur ads are really good u can't even tell it's ads if there not that logo Ads by Yahoo... so i think if u put like 729 by 90 on the top or like 320 By 250 ( not sure something like this ) in each post u make.. i think that's the way Blog sites use.. and there is lots of diffrent size use em.. and set ads where more people go.

yes no doubt the ads are horrible placed, you should really experiment with different placement techniques...

When i first started using PPC i was only making $3 a day, and i thought that was good cause it almost covered my dedicated server, i originally started a website just as a hobby thing cause it was something I liked, now i run quite a few websites and average mid $xxx a day, once you get to those numbers, you become lazy and dont want to work a regular job, which i feel no one who knows what they are doing on the computer should have to do... im just drunk and rambeling on so ill stop now :)

um, now that the sun is up on the east coast, does anyone have any comments on my YPN ad placement (sober comments that is?) :) Thanks.

I've got a skyscraper in the left sidebar and a link unit after the second post. I've also got a link unit at the bottom of every single post page. I've got a google link unit on each page of my wiki and text ads at the top of my forums, the bottom of each topic view page, and also a link unit in my lofi forum archives.
