I've been looking at Commission Junction but during a trial signup I had the choice of UK pounds or US dollars. I got confused because I didn't know which was best. I know it relates to the currency I'd be paid in but does it make any difference from the buyers point of view?
I suppose for you, UK pounds would be the best choice. As for me, I would prefer USD because I'm in USA and almost everyone in the world use it.
Assuming you're talking from a publishers point of view.. no. Buyers will see the offer as specified by the advertiser - whether it be in USD, GBP, or automatically selected once they hit the advertisers site. ---------------------------- As for how you're paid, I'm not sure how CJ work it out. Since most commissions are set $USD amounts, I wonder if the conversion rate between USD to GBP comes into it? If you earn a $100 USD commission, and you've elected to be paid in GBP - do CJ convert the USD to GBP, and then to AUD? If so, it might be worth investigating a little further, especially since the AUD is rapidly getting up to 1:1 with the USD. I remember the good old days when my USD affiliate earnings would nearly double when they hit my AU bank account
