    Hello,

I would value your opionion on what CPM (paid per impressions) or similar you would recommend for a myspace type automotive themed with approx 15,000 daily impressions and 500 daily UIP.

The site has been approved for ValueClick but reading they only pay 40c for 1,000 impressions... (have not tried yet).

I am loooking and hoping for $3-$5 CPM. Is this relaistic?

    Thanks

Thats not realistic at all unless you have a highly targeted demographic in a high paying niche. Valueclick banners at 40cents per thousands isnt bad. VC is the best of the CPM networks.

I'm pretty sure ValueClick pays $2-$5CPM for certain pop-unders. Give them a try!

Don't think popunders is a good idea as it will only help to get rid of your visitors than to get them.

If you put 3 different ad formats on a page then you could do $0.40 * 3 = $1.20 CPM

It depends what kind of users your site attracts. Obviously with the teen market it'd be very wise to use pop-unders as they don't really see it as an annoyance, and will actually check out the ad if it is appealing to them.

If you have a free online games site and have youngsters, then you will still get some older poeple that play the games inbetween their work breaks. Also there are alot of free online game sites online, so I would prefer not to us popunders just incase they decided that another one is better as they have some of the same games, but the main thing is they don't have popunders.

Hmm.. Good market. I'd go to Valueclick.

See with a niche like that, I'm sure there are companies like Goodyear who like to keep their presence known. Triple A and the like as well.
