If you can't get above any of those networks your welcome to try popcpm.com we just recently switched to a premium banner ad network. We offer a minimum rate of $0.10 CPM

Are you looking to publish ads or advertise? I can only speak about publishing.

To be honest it depends how your displaying your videos and how big your website is.

If your a publisher and your just uploading videos to YouTube, then Google Adsense is as good as anything.

If you have the video player on your website then Brightroll, YouMe and Adconion are big video ad networks. However, please be aware that these networks are are for big websites/publishers. If your just a small website you won't get in (I applied to all three and they didn't even reply to my application)

The video advertiser I'm with is AdStract.com. With AdStract the video ad sits in top of your video player (check out my website for an idea how it works) they pay per view. They are a very good, transparent network, IMO, though I've not had any payments from them yet, so I can't comment on how that works.

To be honest for small/hobby websites/publishers, theres not much out there at the moment in terms of video advertising. AdStract is the only network I know of that is unique to the video niche and takes small publishers.

Saymedia (Videoegg) is a good video network for video sites with quality content. They pay on CPV basis.

It looks as though they have quite a big minimum page views requirement - That tends to be the problem with video ad networks. You have to have a lot of hits to be let in, which is fine, but for people starting out you need a network that will encourage you and let you earn enough to be able to develop your site in the first place.

I would not suggest anyone to use CPA networks. Affiliates are usually good for some period of time and revenue going down day by day.
The best networks are CPM, CPC networks.

depending what kind of site you have, it might be good alternative for passback tag but not for all type of sites. usually game sites are good.

Infolinks and Bidvertiser are good. I am hoping for these guys to dominate adsense. I've heard so many horror stories about Big G suspending accounts and retaining thousands of dollars in earnings.

I would also highly recommend Pixfuture, its what I use on my site right now and I'm doing great with it. after adsense banned my site I had a hard time finding a good cpm network, I applied for valueclick and tribalfusion but they didn't accept site, and luckily I came accross pixfuture and got accepted. and what I like about them is their great costumer support, you can email them anytime and they reply to you immediately, on time payment, and they have nice ads as well, sometimes they have sounds ads, but you can email them to remove these kind of ads if you don't want them.

Lijit is my second network, and its a good one too but could be better if they just have higher fill rates.
