Just try to find some online SEO tutorials.

 

Read Google's search engine optimization starter guide, once you completed read some seo blogs like seomoz, seroundtable, searchenginejournal, searchenginewatch. For a beginner first of all learn basic then read seoblogs. attend free seo seminars in your local area if it exists.

 

I learned SEO working for an agency, but I stay up to date by reading the blogs at SEObook and SEOmoz, both of which are great resources. Also, I believe both have training services, but not sure about the videos. That said, if you don't like looking at plenty of text, SEO probably isn't for you.

 

try reading matt cutts' blog or in the seo section of this forum.

 

There are so many videos tagged SEO at the Tube that you would be hard pressed to ever watch them all. Watch the most popular ones but don't buy any products promoted by the videos. Save your money for later when you have enough knowledge about SEO to figure out what, if anything, is worthy of your money.
