    Somebody mentioned Sri Lanka. yes it is one of the most beautiful countries, but there is a civil war going on there at the moment, unfortunately. Also, i think you have to quantify what is the best country to live in if you are married and settling down or if you are single.

    I live in England. The only places I'd seriously want to move to are Australia and New Zealand. Pretty similar to our country in terms of language and culture in the urban parts, yet a hotter climate and less crime I think.

    I've never had an internet connection anywhere else but I'm pretty sure the connections here are fast

    Good Things In Australia
    - The beach in Summer - being surrounded by an ocean and having all cities on the coast, access the the beach is extremely easy and is very relaxing on those hot, 40 degrees Celsius days
    - I don't think we are being hit as hard by the recession
    - Our accent :)
    - A lot of room to - It's not a crowded country
    - You can experience rural life (peaceful) just like 30 mins drive from the city
    - Lots of cultural diversity
    - Lots of social events over in the east coast

    i prefer turkey, istanbul. it's in both asia and europe, a bridge between them. it has seen so many civilizations. cradle of the history. sure every country desires to have a city like that. (istanbul itself indeed)

    Internet services in Australia are nothing more than OK. It's not cheap (I pay around $45 a month). But the WORST thing is, most plans are quota capped. I can only download 15GB per month, then I have to pay $5 for each extra GB.

    I used to be on a 60GB plan, and didn't have to worry about how much YouTube crap, or movies (oops! I mean Linux distros) I downloaded. But on this 15GB plan, it's almost cheaper to buy movies than download them.
