Best Core 2 Duo processor?

    Hi Guys, I'm upgrading my processor and I want to know which is the best core 2 duo processor considering both price and performance.

    If you want the fastest processor in this class, go with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8600. Don't know about the price though.

    Core i5 is better in nearly price. I think core 2 dual is not ok for it pricing.

    I would rather choose core 2 duo e7500 its bang for the buck. Got mine for almost 5 months now, overclocked to 3.3ghz under stock fan @ 55° idle. Its awesome!

    Well you can try i5 as well.Its much more efficient and consumes less power.Roughly around the same price as core2duo
