What content management systems or templates do you use for your affiliate site? Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, Dreamweaver HTML templates etc. I'm trying to decide which to use for a new site. Please post your URL and how you started in regards to layout and content management. Thanks.

Ya..I am also looking for same.. Actually my affiliate site contains tons of affiliate links. And I fear google may slap it hard(ouch!!!). So it would be better if we get plugins that would hide those links from google.. I think wordpress has it but i don't know about joomla and drupal..

Thanks. Is Wordpress appropriate for a complete website, that doesn't look like a blog?

Run a regular site under the home directory, and put the Wordpress blog under a different directory.

Or you could just have the whole site be a blog. Like stated above, Wordpress is very versatile. It also has tons and tons of plugins and themes.

Yep. Wordpress is versatile. If it's a dynamic-type website, I like WP. I've seen it being turned into an article directory, link directory, website showcase, etc ... but if it's just a static-type website, XSitePro's not bad for the newbie. Sure churn out SEO-friendly websites quick. Kinda like a desktop CMS.

I personally developed my own affiliate script that allows me to use affiliate links and pics of the products and stuff on the fly with page zones etc.

Then I use a masking script and a no follow thats built in, Its an intense script that I coded, But if you are serious about all kinds of complex ways to market, then you probably agree with me,

I guess you could use some free stuff as well. Thats how I kinda started using base free script as the core and then developed outward by adding all kinds of stuff,

    Hope that helps !
