http://www.x-cart.com/mall-solution.html http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/umarketplace-suite-multi-vendor-marketplace.html hope that helps, That is complex stuff and frankly not doable otherwise for less than 15,000 + Nigel
yes, and that is if you have to custom code the entire thing or make a bolt on. That is pretty complex stuff. Depending on what you have to do.... this may work http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/super-simple-multi-vendor-marketplace-free.html I was just about to edit my post. I have never seen that but if I can get a wordpress project out of the way I can probably install magento and that plugin real fast to see how well it works. Conversely you can just install Magento on a test server and try the plugin as well. I am curious to see what it does. Nigel
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/marketplace.html that is a bit more reasonable as well but I have not used that either so I cant comment much on it but it looks like it would do the trick as well. Nigel
Check abantecart project. I believe they work on the marketplace what you are looking for. I read on their forum somewhere.
The content management system is a type of software, which is used for the editing, publishing and modifying the content and also the central interface that are used in the websites. The best cms in the marketplace for the E-commerce are abantecart joomla, drupal, expression engines are some of the cms for the e-commerce.
Checkout themeforest.com. They have plenty of E-Commerce themes (magento, cs-cart, wordpress, cs-cart) I would use wordpress and look for visual composer included with the theme. This is a drag and drop page builder add-on. Otherwise you can purchase it for $30 on codecanyon.net
I have seen a really good custom CMS with Uniquescriptz. there you can manage categories, upload product, manage invoice or even there is blog section. you can check there demo at link http://www.uniquescriptz.com/ecommerce-script/
the best thing you need to do is search in google "wardrobe clone" or "asos marketplace clone " or similar to asos script. You will find someone who already build for targeted audience like you. Most important thing to understand how the backend programming is done and how it can be help you reduce hours of work. I can also search and put link here but i don't want to take risk on my account.
Go with opencart , Easy , Cheap & SEO friendly with plugins . Also you can use Woocommerce MultiVendor Plugin with wordpress to do that
Best open source CMS for eCommerce website: 1 Joomla 2 MODX 3 Drupal 4 Opencart 5 Magento 6 WordPress 7 PrestaShop 8 CMS Made Simple 9 ImageCMS Corporate Free 10 TYPO3 CMS 11 Concrete5 Have a nice day/night!
I think, you can either opt for Drupal or Joomla. I know WordPress is a user friendly platform but there are a few more better options available then WordPress when it comes to eCommerce. So, choice is yours.
I would say - 1. Woocommerce - free open source made in php 2. NOP commerce - free open source made in asp.net MVC
We recommend you Magento CMS for fashion stores. We have several projects with such a theme. And we think that Magento can easily handle a big number of products and customers and allow you to expand further in the future if necesary. There are a lot of benefits in using Magento platform, too many to count in one email. It has a very enhanced system for managing the products, clients, billing, mobile shopping and so on. It has a lot of features for cross-selling, up-selling, special offers and other tools for marketing. It is the most used e-commerce platform all over the world (more than 25% of the entire market) Magento received a lot of rewards, but most importantly It has powered most of the 1000 Top Best Internet Retailers in the last 3 years.
