Hi, I am looking to write some tutorials on one topic. Is there any specific CMS which I can use for it which can help me. does other CMS support some addons/plugins. Regards
I use Evo-Articles and are very happy with the results. Got it in use on 4 sites so far. Easy to use, good for SE-friendly URLs, too. Christoph
You might consider looking at Moodle (http://www.moodle.org). It is a learning mgmt system, similar to a CMS and will provide you with a variety of tools to interact with the content.
I tried out phpmyfaq but I didn't really like it. I don't think it's customizable enough for many users' needs.
WOw..I think my host offer moodle through cpanel..let me check anyway it's going to be a very small site and will be mostly content. If moodle is not going to take too much space than I will go with ir otherwise I will use drupal as I have worked on it.
Would you pay for a cms specificly made to run a tutorial web site? If so, how much for non exclusive copy?
I think moodle or e-tutor provide the best e-classroom solutions. There are others like the high priced blackboard, but pound for pound these to work well and are easy to use and understand. JMb
i have heard about moodle a lot; i think it is free. also see if you can afford desire2learn; my college use that for online classes. http://desire2learn.com/
