Best classifieds sites - Which one DP members prefer?

Are yu using classifieds sites for promoting your website ? let me know the high traffic classifieds sites list ?

 

craigslist.org ! It worked wonders for my site 2 years ago

 

how much did you earn from that traffic ?

 

Couple of hundred but this was for a service that I was offering. If you're wanting traffic for adsense.. it's probably low.

yup! craigslist is the most dominant classified as far as i can see...

But it's very hard now to spam them to promote ...

 

You don't need to spam to promote at all. I just added one neat, non-spammy ad about my services Depends on your offer too!

I get at least 2 visitors per day from craiglist which i think is not bad!

 

www.adtrader.co.uk and www.freeads.co.uk but these are UK classiifieds, so duno if you live in the UK

I've used freeads for a (adult) affiliate promotion and it worked

 

how many visitors getting from craigslist ?

 

some categories are not free in craiglist! but then i have got a lot of hits from cragilist, i still remember about 50-60 hits i was getting from there, that was a few years back, i don't really remember how it ended!!

 

kijiji is good for local classifieds

 

gumtree is good for uk.

i promoted there last month and got about 2000 uniques and $20 ish in adsense
