Best CJ web hosting affiliate?

I'm just wondering what experiences other people have had with web hosting affiliates on CJ. I'm seriously considering a strong push for Justhost, which is paying out $100/signup on a $3.95/mo deal. Seems almost too good to be true. Anyone advertising for them? Do they pay for legitimate signups? How about alternatives?

I personally like HostGator. They also pay $100/signup (depending on plan), and have well known name. Competition is high in the hosting niche... so earnings are tough to come by. Good luck!

I've tried to make money in this area with little luck. I believe that it is WAY to competitive for us average Joes. Look for something else that has a payout of at least $30 and a good gravity score and you'll have better luck.

What you have to watch out for with some of the really cheap hosting companies, is that they have really high cancellation rates. So you might sell 4 accounts in a month, but 3 will cancel. You get lots of customers who want to try hosting for a month, but cancel before 30 days, so you don't get the commission.

I would recommend mixing up the different hosting companies. A few bigger one, and a few smaller ones. Another thing I like to do is pick a company that has a higher 3 month EPC than 7 day EPC. That tells you more of their sales stick and turn into commissions for their affiliates. Good luck.

Agreed. Most of those "Hosting review" sites I see on the net, they're just CJ affiliates and list the hosting companies from CJ.

Of course then I get to deal with their clients after they get messed up by them or aren't happy with the level of service.

Some open source projects make money this way as well. (And a lot of it from what I hear) Then you get to deal with "But Yahoo is a recommended host for xpzpress! Why is it there if they're not good?" over and over again in the forums.
