I was amazed to read a post by another forum member describing his career choice based on a number of factors that most of us don't consider. I have seen some high priced products (like enterprised content management systems and anything IBM) that require high priced consultants but I wondered how long these products would last. Apparently they do. Besides things like Lotus Notes and IBM's Rational Unified products, what are some of the other enterprise, high TOC products one can wrap a career around? Would any of them make an enjoyable career (meaning feeling productive and having a life outside the cubicle)?
