Any suggestions for really good books on SEO? Since the field changes so quickly does anyone have any suggestions on newer books?

Someone had suggested SEO - an hour a day.

    Any other?

This is not an ebook, but it's one of the best ways to learn.

Forums. This one is a good place.

Apart from that, take a look at Matt Cutts blog.

Search Engine Optimization For Dummies by Bruce Clay and Susan Esparza. It's the most recent version of this book. I know Bruce Clay has been doing this for some time, so that would be my best suggestion.

And forums may be a good place for information, but I would suggest learning from the experts, and not just getting all of your knowledge in the forums. Experience wins every time, and Bruce Clay has the experience. Also, anyone that took part in this: http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors

There are a lot more quality resources on SEO apart from forums that are free as well. All the blogs and the ebook I mentioned are free.

If you're into Adwords, Google AdWords Secrets from SEOBook.com is a good read. For the basics of SEO, you must download "SEO Made Easy." They can be downloaded for free.

You can get a Free SEO Ebook from Google too in PDF format.

Other than that, I would suggest you to follow top 20 SEO blogs that updated frequently.

You need to subscribe to Matt Cutt's blog to get latest update on google SEO matters.

I think it is better to go through videso of Matt cutt in youtube.
However, I never had spent time on raeding books. I had read lot of threads here in DP as well as some other SEO forums and learnt a lot, Apart from that, I used to check out Matt Cutt's videos from youtube.com as well as some of his articles from his blog. Really helps :D
