    Hey,
I'm starting to learn c#, what is the best book for a starter like me? I know coldfusion right now, so you can consider that as a little web programming experience.

Programming Microsoft .NET by Jeff Prosise was the best for me.
It teaches Framework concepts and basic but functional C# in a very easy way.
I could start writing my own code in a day or two without even finishing reading the whole book. I had VB6, some C, and Delphi background.
An advice - use VS 2003, not 2005. It's much faster, less annoying, and no bugs. Kinda like XP vs. Vista :)
Oh, btw, the site in my sig is running on .NET.
