Best blogging software?

    is it better to use a stand alone platform for a blog or a web hosted platform.

    and....

    which ones are the best ones to use??

    The amount of customization you can get with self-hosting just can't be beat. The blogging platforms are nice enough, but I always go with self-hosting.

    When I started blogging I used Blogger but turned to wordpress soon.Both
    of them have advantages and I think it`s a matter of choice.

    Well both WP and Blogspot is good but WP have more plugins than Blogspot.:)
