    If you are newbie then blogspot is really a great choice. its very easy to use.

    but if you are like blogging and wanna to do it professionally then self hosted wordpress is good choice.
    here are lot of free and paid plugins availble to make it more powerful and you can do anything by playing with wordpress. :)
