Best Blog Software?

I have tried using b2evolution, wordpress (which when hitting the publish button it takes me to a blank page and then turns my entire site blank) and now stumped of what to do.

I run a site called iSteve Daily and I really need a specialized CMS (been to opensourcecms.com no good) and would like to hear from you guys that host your own blog software, are using.

    Thanks :)

Wordpress is easily my favourite. I use it on about 10 sites and love it. I'm running everything from normal blogs, to shops, and travel guides using WP.

If the publish button is giving you a blank page, then you've (obviously) got a problem somewhere that you should sort out (htaccess maybe?). It's worth getting WP running nicely - once you get the hang of it you can have a new site up and running in about 5 mins.

    Thanks for the reply Kerosene,

As for the .htaccess file I didn't know I had one missing, I suppose this would be the issue?

I've got a feeling WP creates its own htaccess file when you edit the permalinks options. htaccess was just a guess - it might have nothing to do with your problem.

Maybe try posting in the blogging section of DP to solve your WordPress probs - there's some serious WP nerds over there :)

I agree WP is a very nice simple solution with a lot of plugins and themes.
