Best Blog Script?

I would like to start my own personal blog but am unsure what script to use.

I would like to host the blog on my own server rather than use those www.blogger.com type of blogs.

Can someone recommend some blog scripts for me? Thanks.

Self hosted wordpress is better and since you want to host it yourself, it is the perfect option: http://www.wordpress.org

 

I recommend Wordpress, of course.

 

I always use and suggest wordpress and here it is why wordpress is better than blogger There are still many reasons but these are the basic ones.

 

I havent used Blogger , but I am currently using Wordpress, and am really happy with it. Easy to use , customize and tons of plugin to help u and lots of free themes which are really good.

Here's another vote for WordPress. You have a lot more flexibility with it. And lots and lots of customization options via plugins, widgets, and free themes.

 

There are some blog scripts at opensourcecms.com, you can try them. I also recommend WordPress.

 

Wordpress is the thing, if you want to be orginal hire a scripter als create one for your selve
