Hi All, I've finally decided that I need to use an automated bidding solution to manage a small portion of my AdWords campaigns. I ideally want to find software that I can install on one of my servers rather than a hosted solution. I don't need much in the way of functionality; it just needs to monitor the keywords I tell it to and adjust their bidding to ensure that they remain in the positions I want. Anyone out there got any recommendations for me? Many thanks. Dan
Bid Management is more effective for Yahoo, the reason being that you cannot predict and hold a specific spot in Google because of its Algorithm based on click-thru rate, quality score (keyword relevance between search term, ad and landing page) and bid. I know some products are out there for it, but honestly I wouldn't bother. If it's for only a small portion maybe you can subcontract someone, and train them at the same time so then they can handle more in the future as your business grows.
Yeah, I know it's not as straightforward as YSM, but it should be possible just by making changes and seeing the effects, then repeating as necessary. Just wondering if someone has come across any software that can do this?
