Best banner creation software

    Hello,

I am ready to buy a banner creation software. I need a good one. I have already bought Photo shop but it is very difficult for me to create banners using it.

By doing a Google search I cam across bannermakerpro etc. but they are very simple.

I heard that there is a specific software released by Adobe to make banners, buttons etc. Could you please name it or I'll be happy if you post photoshop alternatives,

I need to create professional looking banners.

    Thanks for your replies.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but everything else is junk compared to Photoshop. If you don't have the patience to learn how to make a simple banner in Photoshop (especially after you've bought it) - then maybe you should consider just paying someone to make the banners for you.

I don't use Photoshop, but you should be able to make great banners with that software as Kerosene posted.
But not everything else is junk. That part is wrong. there are many graphics programs that will allow you to create banners , buttons, logos etc..
Fireworks, Corel draw, Xara Xtreme, Real Draw Pro are a few that come to mind.
It depends on your budget, I would think if you bought PS, I would learn to use that.
I use Xtreme for most all graphics that I do. A good little affordable program for about 55 dollars is the real Draw pro, but it wont do animation. You can do nice animation with xtreme....

i created banners using fireworks for many years and found it to be the quickest and easiest way. it allows for easy animation, spreading static items across animated frames, symbols that can be changed which propagate to all your banners and much more.

it's a really great program also for doing web design. i prefer it to photoshop for everything except doing print work and illustration.

Fireworks i think is the best way to go for banners. Photoshop will do the job too.

Have you tried "Selteco BannerShop GIF Animator"?

This is what I use to make our banners, it's very simple and straight forward to use.

As I do like Photoshop I see it going downhill from CS2. I prefer Gimp 2.0 Alot more user friendly and you can save it to just about any file format out there.
