I was just wondering everyone's thoughts on Autoresponder plug-ins for Joomla. I am using Joomla as my clients need to be able to eventually change content without having to know script. I also need to use a plug-in as it is one less website they will need to keep track of. I was thinking of using iContact (http://www.icontact.com/) as it is cheap to begin with. I wouldn't expect my clients to get over about 5,000 dignified contacts in their mailing lists. I am not 100% certain on the differences between autoresponders, so please could you let me know why you think this one would be good/bad or why another would be better? Thanks!
I also wanted to know about sending these bulk emails. If I am to send out 1000 at a time to all contacts, what program would I use? I have used Mail List King (I think that's what it's called?) in the past. I need them to show that they are from my client and that hey have no affiliation with any programs etc. I also need them to not be filtered by bulk or spam filters. Thanks for your input.
