Best Approach for "Blog" With Articles for PR Juice

    I have a question for experienced SEO'ers.

I have some sites of my own, and some client sites in the area of home improvement: Air Conditiong, Pool Building, Pool Cleaning, Garage Makeover, Commercial Flooring.

I need to get some page rank (traffic is less important because these businesses are local, so a visitor from anywhere other than the local area is useless); so, it's a pagerank play. Potentially, I could also do adsense on these pages as well. I anticipate getting up to 300 to 500 articles.

I am going to start writing articles with backlinks, which I have done many times, so my question is: What's the best overall approach to this for pagerank:

    1. Post all the articles on a high-PR site like ezinearticles. Of course, this means that I'll share all the outgoing pagerank with whatever ezinearticles puts on the page, and of course, they get the adsense money.

    2. Alternative: create a blogger/blogspot blog. One of my core questions about this approach is will the pagerank be strong? Also, getting inbound links to a blogger page might be a bit tougher.

    3. Or, a stand alone site in Wordpress (other CMS's are no good for me because I know wordpress and do not know the others).

    4. Or, do I just put the articles on the sites themselves...

    Thanks for you help folks...

    Michael

if you simply want PR. Its pretty simple. Get backlinks from other high PR sites that are dofollow. You can easily get these from dofollow search engines or dofollow lists posted on this forum.

I will say that I've never seen a good quality free dofollow resource. You will need to pick through the nofollows to find the dofollows. If you are willing to pay for the better resource you can check my sig below.

If it's a quality article, I would just post on my own site. Then create another set of related short article for submission to article directories to link back to it.

I had never thought of this. Creating a long article for you blog then an abridged, reworded version for article websites...

Its not easy to get high pr link. in my point of you if homepage have pr 9 and u create account submit article ..then that pages is new page for that website and the pr will be not 9 only 0/NA. Regulary build some particular number of links per day like 50+ and then find high pr webpage not website ..blog post and something and start building links from that. Create your blog or webpage like squidoo and also article directory page and build links for them so they also get highpr. Believe me it will work..if need help pm me

if traffic is less important, what is the purpose of having high PR?
As richkid said , put those articles in you OWN website.

People have altogether different reason to concentrate fully on PR....They need to either showcase their efforts in having a well connected website or plan to sell links or the site itself.

As regards OP's question, building good backlinks is the only way to get good PR.
Try to increase your interaction with other blogs in your niche and thereby do lots of blog commenting on highly ranked blogs. Do inspect beforehand that these blogs offer do-follow backlinks in the comments section as well!

    Regards,
