I heard that Kaspersky is the best of them, but in my personnal experience, McAffe does a better job than Norton, so does AVG.
To me every AntiVirus has its Demerits and Merits. No one can completely depend on Antivirus for complete security. But try to achieve maximum security by coupling it with Firewalls. Use any of the Best firewalls like Zonealrm or COMODO, and you will be safe. But when you are on the internet you are visible to all.
I use norton on all three of my computers and have never had any problems with viruses------sorry for double post browser messed up...sorry
I go for AVG, but i used Avira Antivir Premium now which is really good for me, @ OP i think you missed that antivirus ..
Kaspersky internet security 2009 is working more than enough for me, its best out in the market. I really liked its new feature which is "virtual Keyboard" to prevent from keyloggers.
in my opinion all anti-viruses do the same job... stop viruses to enter into your system... All of these are serious brands of antivirus!
