Norton doesn't seem it can find the latest trojans and viruses. I had a trojan, norton couldn't detect it.

I use and recommend AVG Free + Zone Alarm Firewall Free.
Use this combination for a long time and never had a problem, today you dont need to spend a lot of money on paid solutions to get protected.

My AV has not been listed. Its Sunbelt Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware. Light on system resources and extremely good detection rates. Very much content with this one after trying out a bunchful. Even though I am yet to try out the enterprise versions, I'll cast my vote on this. With regards to what has been listed, I'll choose KAV. Somewhat overwhelming for the the novice user, but offers rock solid protection if you take the pain to set it up properly.

I used all of them-kaspersky,nod32,avast,panda,symantec and so on, but for Your surprise no one could made me pleased. besides, I like also AVG firewal settings. May be You used freeware version I don know, but I installed AVG on a computer on which was before kaspersky and I think You should see the result. I must mention that both antiviruses were updated.;)

I personally have tested AVG pro fully update. but it missed a lot of viruses. All other are much better than AVG. For Freeware, I will prefer Avira.
