    Would have to say its between Nod32 and Kaspersky, the free antivirus software is OK but you get what you pay for.

    I used to use Norton then it became a pain, switched to AVG then was told about NOD32. So yeah.. NOD32 ftw :p

    I am using Quick Heal Total Security for window xp for mine newly purchased

    Dell laptop.

    And I have to good experiences from virus security side with this antivirus.

    I would suggest you AVG - Free and Zone Alarm - Firewall both would completely give you protection.
    I am using Avg free and Zonealarm Pro version.
    *Avg provides ontime protection by scanning and detecting for virus when u use your system so it can detect any program is acting beyond your control or something trying to access any thing abnormally &
    *Zonealarm gives you online protection as well as detects for gaining access of system by any program no new program could get started without your permission
