Hi, I was wondering if there was a quicker way of doing this I have around 800 articles, from a print newsletter (they're good quality, not rewritten, or written for only seo). I've decided to put them all online to increase seo. Each one is about 250 words (is this a high enough word count?) And if you post 800 x 250 word articles, does it look wrong. Should they vary in length? I was thinking about having 40 or 50 key phrases (i.e. 16 articles optimized for each term... (i.e. 800 articles/50 key phrases = 16 articles) These would then be pointed at a squeeze page. 1 Squeeze Page /l\ l 16 Articles Pages This would be repeated 50 times 1) What is the quickest way to get them up there? Like I said, there's potentially 800 pages that need to be optimized for 2 or 3 key terms (which means, a bit of text editing, description, metatags, internal linking, etc) Is there a way to automate this sort of thing? Or is it manually going through and doing it all by hand? 2) Would creating dreamweaver templates work? Is there a good way to do this, that anyone knows? 3) can all the 16 pages (for each of the 50 key terms) have similar meta tags and descriptions 4) How many search terms should I optimise each one for? I can add a bit of content to each one, to optimise the terms. (I was thinking 2 or 3 key phrases) 5) I'm also thinking it's wise to not release this all at once (i.e. do X amuont per month). Do the search engines penalise for releasing a bunch of content all at once... and then none? 6) Is it best to release a bunch, then look at getting links, etc to that? If so, what would be a strategy for this (i.e. post article, mention on blog, submit version of article to article directory, etc) I know I've asked a bunch of questions here, so hopefully it will stimulate some interesting discussions Any thoughts, ideas, etc would be really appreciated. Resources, software, also appreciated. I haven't done much SEO and am loving the answers and feedback from people on this forum.
