    Hi Guys,

We have a site that does around £350 a day of transactions and wondered what the best payment method might be in the UK, we currently use paypal standard, but people without paypal are struggling to realise you do not need an account to use it.

Any alternative suggestions would be great

    Thanks

Paypal is still the best online payment processor. if you are doing local business, then you might consider bank transfer such as e-banking or WU

    Hi Friends,

According to me, Paypal is the best option for payment transactions. No alternative option for payment transaction.

Hi zeroms. A lot of people in your position harness PP with Nochex (www.nochex.com). Nochex is well known for not requiring shoppers to have an account, whereas PP still has that association. Nochex is also good because it is pay-as-you-go; no nasty monthly or recurring fees, so if it does not get used you don't pay. However, if lots of people want to use a PP alternative, Nochex does not tie you in with a long contract and if you can get better terms elsewhere there is nothing to stop you going. There is a set-up fee, but if your customers are predominantly UK based and your transaction values are typically less than £100 then Nochex has just launched a new service - UK Trader - which costs just £14.95 to set-up. Hope this helps,

    Best regards,
    - Peter
