Need to get this sorted before the 25th for my hosting but my current provider is too expensive. Can anyone recommend a good cheap cpanel/rv/fantastico license?

    Kind regards,

    Matt.

It depends on whether you are going to select the VPS or Dedicated Server path. Either path have different pricing for the licenses. If you look hard into it, there are providers that bundled all this package and sell it at a affordable price.

I take it that you are going towards VPS path, and there are VPS providers that offer these licenses at a reasonable rate due to their partnership. Here is the pricing you should expect from your VPS provider.
    cPanel - $10 - $15/month
    RVSkin - $20/year
    Fantastico - $15-20/year

On second thought, have you considered Softaculous over Fantastico? From personal experience, Fantastico is not very efficient in updates and this may cause security exploits. I suggest you give Softaculous a thought and do research on this piece of awesome software.

Thanks for your reply. I have a dedicated server located with poundhost.com. What is the pricing for dedicated and who would you recommend for these services?

In this case, I believe you are looking for external licenses as compare to internal licenses.

    cPanel - buycPanel.com US$35/month as compared to PoundHost £30/month.
RVSkin - buycPanel.com US$4/month as compared to direct from rvskin US$99/year.
Fantastico - buycPanel.com US$4/month as compared to direct from Fantastico US$90/year
softaculous - US$2.50/month from softaculous if you are considering

I am sure someone can shed some light on getting better deals on RVSkin and Fantastico. So at the moment, these are your choices.

I also think that buycPanel.com is the cheapest provider for cPanel external license out there.

And forget Fantastico... softaculous is the way to go.

I do not think you will be able to find the cheapest. All of them are the same. You may get it cheaper only if you get it used by someone.
