    You do not need to pay for Google Analytics, I think it is the best. You can find your site information and analyze it.

    If you run your own MS based server or VPS AND you are tracking just one site, I recommend SmarterStats.

    It's free for one site and gives you a lot of deep info such as what particular image is being pulled. That lets me see which image ad is working on CL.

    I also use Google Analytics which is a great free tool. It just doesn't give me all the data I want when I need to drill down.

    If your looking to see which keywords are being used, which pages have the most page views and where you traffic if coming from then Analytics is the best tool.

    Web CEO is a handy tool if your looking to find about keywords, backlinks and optimisation.

    You can also install sitemeter to make comparisons between the analytic and sitemeter. so far I have used both it and accurate

    I am using google analytics and sitemeter.

    analytics is for detailed and sitemeter is for quick view of visits.
