    Hi Everyone,

I am about implementing Amazon AWS Script and wanted to know which one you would recommend ?

Free or Paid doesnt much matter

Also has anyone ever been banned from SERPs for implementing AWS scripts (duplicate content) ?

I've only used Associate Engine from Cusimano.Com so I can't compare it to others. At the time I started it seemed to combine easy and capability. I think it costs about $99.

I probably should take the time to see what the newer scripts offer, Particularly Associate-O-Matic.

I have tried quite a few PHP scripts over the years! By far my best results were with ASM2 by freekrai. However as more people use a "specific" Amazon affiliate script it seems to gets harder to make decent sales!

I would strongly recommend learning enough PHP and HTML to make the script you choose "your" own! Which is pretty easy to do with ASM2.

Richard, thanks for the info on Cusimano, I'm going to check it out. For AOM, I just purchased, it's pretty good, but now I hear it encrypts somehow so it can't be altered.

I bought Associate-O-Matic about a month ago and I am surprised at how well my store is doing. The admin of AOM is pretty nice too.

AOM seems pretty nice. I bought it and customized it. It was really really easy, especially for some nitwit like me. :) And, the company making the script has suport forums.

You can try out AOM for free to tinker aroud with all its features. The AOM website has some demo sites out there, and mine is : http://www.pennyquick.com/forum/index.php?action=shop .

From my experience an Amazon affiliate store's best results normally last for about a month. I had a couple of stores do GREAT the first day they were indexed! Then as more pages of products were indexed the number of sales slowly starts to decline. Please keep us updated on what you experience.

Recently, on the AOM forum, I made a request that information on 'what users are browsing for' and 'what users a purchasing' be made into an rss feed. SMF has a couple of mods available that'll take a rss feed and make it into a post inside the forum via a bot.

My reason for making this suggestion is to have the search engines index a site that has live rss feed posted into it on regular basis that would reflect what customers were purchasing. Therefore, one's site that sells of product X would be indexed by the search engines as specializing in item X.

Also, it would be a great way to combine the search engine results for the shop along with the result from one's forum.

Please help in voicing that this would make a great mod on AOM's forum. I'm sure they'll pay attention if more and more people make a request! :)

I wrote my own amazon bookstore, FREEBS, in php. It is wdsl3 and is free.

I took the base code of that and recoded it for books and products in wdsl4 using the pear libs to create the class to call amazon. I just deployed it, I will track the success as we go I guess.

But it's worth mentioning, for me, amazon profits seem to have gone up since the changes everyone said would destroy us.

Just spent this evening installing Associate-O-Matic trial on my new alternative energy site.

Here is the opening salvo of the home power book store.

Fingers crossed. I am impressed with the application but I can't figure out why the categories won't display the "home and garden" category... I'm sure I'm missing something.

    I'll get back to ROTM.

    Hi,
I find that if you can have your store looking the same as your main site, it would be great!
