I sent an application for google adsense 3 months ago and yet no reply.

I'm wondering what's the second best solution? Thanks for any input

Google Adsense Department had some issues last month, Even my friends application for an adsense account was pending in review for almost a month.
Talk to an Adsense Manager (One of your friends might know one) they might help you out.

If you a new to google adsense you need established website with good articles all over your website, then include your website upon your application. It's could be easy for you account to approve, google will love it.

Adsense is the best "fire and forget" solution. It's so easy it inspires laziness, I know at least for me. In most cases you can make more revenue using affiliate programs and other targeted solutions. It requires more effort, but can generate significantly more income.

I run a dictionary and have had ongoing issues with google ads being more miss than hit, and I've just started putting amazon links in manually. Effort yes, but we'll see if there's a payoff for having links that match the content, since I never got that with adsense. The site generates 2000-3000 ad impressions a day, it *should* make more than it does.

With new Google Adsense Certified Partners included in the Google Adsense, almost all of the best alternatives are included in Adsense.

But if your are unable to get Adsense approval you can use following Adsense Alternatives:
Bidvertiser, Chitika, AdBrite, Infolinks, Kontera etc.

You can also use affiliates programs like: Ebay, Amazon, Bizrate etc.

Best alternative is to make your own banners and use a good affiliate program related to your site.

The banners I design and use have a CTR about 5 x better than adsense.

bidvertiser or adbrite is good alternative to adsense........
but you must try all out to get Google approve your adsense account...because Google Adsense is still the best for PPC...
