    Welcome Sarika,
Google AdWords program advertizers can have their text, image and video based ads shown on selected publishers sites that include Google AdWords JavaScript code. Google's servers show context sensitive advertisements (Google Adwords).
Is Adwords ineffective and costing you too much? Then try these alternatives.
    Chitika
    InfoLinks
    Kontera,
I hope you will be understand ...

Adcenter/Yahoo should be your next destination, be warned the traffic volume will be much lower than you're used to from Adwords.

MSN Adcenter traffic is a bit lower but it's still good. When using MSN Adcenter the biggest factor to them releasing a truck load of traffic is your daily budget. If you set it too low, they pretty much ignore your bids.

Google Ads is the best one to use by far for traffic and as the others suggested Yahoo is possibly the nest best one.

I've used yahoo, but as someone above pointed out, the traffic there is much less and the system overall is clumsier. I doubt they will ever reach the versatility of adwords and the tools provided.

Yahoo would be the next best alternative, though you shouldn't expect the traffic to be as high as it is in Adwords.

Google is the most popular IT around the world except in two countries: Russia and China. Until you try to sell something in this market, Google is your choice. Remember that the market is the market share of 75-95%!

I do not know China, but in Russia the main Yandex.ru and there is something like "Yandex Adwords".

In addition to the cost Google Adwords has very stringent terms and conditions are that mean that many would be advertisers are turned away. If you are not satisfied with your Google Adwords experience or are looking for more cost effective alternatives then take a look at these Top 10 alternatives to Google's Adwords program that are ideal for the small time advertiser and business.
    AdBrite
    Bidvertiser
    Chitika
    InfoLinks
    Kontera
    Exit Junction
    Clicksor
    Pocket Cents
    Dynamic Oxygen
    AdBull

these are all just like Google Adwords. However, Google's popularity also means that it is not necessarily the best solution for most small advertisers.

google's popularity would seem to only increase the CPC and your average budget to get the same amount of traffics. you're competing with millions of other adwords users and this would only mean one thing, only advertisers putting in the highest CPC and maximum daily budget will see their ads appear and get high traffics. so the key here if you're playing with adwords is TARGETING. you need to wisely do targeting to minimise your target market and only spend your money advertising to only these people. you'll get a higher conversion rate but at a lower cost.

adwords would only work for professionals, newbies will only waste their money on adwords if they couldn't manage their campaigns well.

On the above I respectfully disagree. My experience suggests that its not really so hard to learn on your own as long as you can write good ads.
If you aren't a good adwriter, then maybe get someone to write it for you. But you should be able to manage the campaign on your own or at least hire someone on the cheap to do it for you. No point in paying a professional 50+ USD an hour to do so.

that's why i said it would be a waste if you're just wanting to give it a go, more of a try and error approach. you have to learn how the system works, and take advantage of it. then only you can make some money out of it.

Of late I read a lot about Chitika.  It seems to be very promising indeed.  I am not very sure about the conversions there.  Still I have a feeling that Adwords is the best.
