Can anyone recommend a good all-round SEO solution for Wordpress?

I'm using it as a CMS, rather than for it's blogging capabilities.

I know there's lots of SEO plugins for WP- But which one have you guys come across, and found to be the most useful?

    Thanks :)

    Many thanks for that.

I'll give that plugin a go.

Does the theme really make a big difference to SEO within Wordpress?

plugins try SEO ultimate from SEO Design Solutions

themes, well yes, the theme determines how the information interfaces with Google, what is an h1, h2 where it all is on the page etc

Thesis is really good because apart from being very seo-friendly already there's lots of SEO affecting options built in as well as great design flexibility.

I echo what @Canonical says. Seems like All-in-One SEO pack is the gold standard. As far as themes go, be sure to also check out WooThemes, PremiumThemes, & VivaThemes. They've got some really impressive templates, especially if you are interested in a more corporate type website.

The best suggestion would be that you Get a High Quality WordPress Design or choose a theme from an online marketplace for a reasonable and affordable price and tweak it if necessary. Try diythemes.com/?a_aid=4ac05dd718a2e
