I'm looking to take my site to the next level and the only way I can see that happening is by investing in the affiliates programmes. I'm willing to give a 25% commission to my site www.projectsclothing.co.uk. However, I don't want to invest heavily into affiliate marketing up front if the results are poor. I just joined profitistic as it's totally free to setup and just based on sales with a deposit just tomake to prove i have the funds. I emailed CJ and they broke down the cost as follows: The first year cost to join our network with CJ Access is £7,100: Setup and integration cost: £1,500 Monthly Minimum Fees: £300 Refundable Deposit: £2,000 Network Override: 30 Not sure if this is standard practice but it's a little steep for my budget. Could anyone recommend any other affiliate progs for my type of site with low set-up fees?
Yes, CJ does charge a fair amount of money, however they are pretty good at what you do (except that they're huge and personal service from them doesn't come so easy). I've also worked closely with Double Click Performics (Google) which worked really well for me at the time. If I remember correctly, Market Leverage has low monthly costs and maybe they can even get rid of the start up fee. Check them out and let us know!
